The Brief
A full bathroom renovation in Apollo Beach — the dated fiberglass tub and builder-grade vanity were replaced with a frameless walk-in shower, large-format marble-look tile with a hexagon mosaic accent, a navy shaker vanity with matte black fixtures, and new LVP flooring.
The Challenge
The bathroom was dated throughout: a worn fiberglass tub surround, mismatched floor tile, a builder-grade vanity, and dim lighting with no architectural character. The owners wanted a modern, spa-like retreat within the existing footprint.
The Resolution
We gutted the room to the studs, reconfigured the shower as a frameless glass walk-in with large-format book-matched marble-look tile and a hexagon mosaic accent niche, and installed a navy shaker vanity with matte black fixtures and a round black-framed mirror. A matching tiled alcove soaking tub replaced the old fiberglass unit, and new dark LVP flooring with a linear black vanity light completed the transformation.

From blueprint to final dwelling.
Demo came first — the tub surround and vanity were removed down to framing, exposing the plumbing and insulation. We reframed and waterproofed the shower enclosure, set the large-format book-matched tile with a hexagon mosaic accent column, and built the glass-shelf niche. The navy vanity and stone top went in, followed by the matte black faucet, fixtures, and the frameless glass enclosure. The alcove tub surround was tiled to match, and new LVP flooring finished the space — tying the room together into one coherent, modern retreat.
